Pleasing x Loop Contest

Terms & Conditions (“Rules”) 

 

1. Organizer: The Pleasing x Loop Contest (the “Contest”) is operated by (a) Loop BV, headquartered at Lamorinièrestraat 33/105, 2018 Antwerp, Belgium (company number 0665.977.551) for Entrants residing in the European Union and Australia; and (b) Loop America Inc., headquartered at 530 7th Avenue, Suite 902, New York, NY 10018, United States for Entrants residing in the United States (individually or collectively, “Loop”, “Us”, “Our” and “We”), in collaboration with Pleasing Company, LP (“Pleasing”). 

2. Rules: The following Rules apply to the Contest and are in addition to the terms and conditions contained in Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Please read these Rules carefully. By participating in the Contest, You have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of the Rules. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. 

3. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you (the “Entrant” or “You”) agree to these Rules. You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements and accept Loop’s decisions as final and binding. Any questions, comments or issues related to the Contest should be directed to Loop. 

4. Entry Routes and Entry Period: The Contest offers two separate entry routes 

  • Pop-up Route: Entrants may participate by scanning the QR code available at the Pleasing Amsterdam pop-up store. The Pop-up Route begins on 15 May 2026 at 11am CET and ends on 7 June 2026 at 7pm CET 

  • Online Route: Entrants may participate by completing the entry form via the pop-up banner displayed on Loop’s website. The Online Route begins on 21 May 2026 at 3.30 pm CET and ends on 21 June 2026 at 3.30 pm CET.  

(each, the “Entry Period” for the applicable route) 

Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. Each person may enter the Contest only once, via one route. Duplicate entries across routes will be disqualified. 

5. Prize: A total of five (5) winners of the Contest (the “Winner(s)”) will be selected: 

  • Pop-Up Route: two (2) Winners;
  • Online Route: three (3) Winners: one (1) from the European Union, one (1) from Australia, and one (1) from the United States.  

Each Winner will receive one (1) Pleasing x Loop Mystery Box, containing: 2x Pleasing x Loop ExperienceTM 2 earplugs  (Loud Enough and Love Enough editions), 2x Pleasing nail polish (I'm Not That Hairy & Fifi Fo Fun), 1x Pleasing fragrance (The Closeness Pleasing Fragrance Spritz (8ml)), and 1x Pleasing Lip Moisture Balm (Big Lip HA Moisture Balm) (the “Prize(s)”). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Prize is EUR 148 / USD 171. Loop decides at its sole discretion which Winner receives which Prize. The Prize is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.  

6. Eligibility: The Contest is only open to those who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their country of residence, whichever is higher) on the entry date. Additional eligibility requirements apply per route: 

  • Pop-Up Route: open to individuals who are physically present at the Pleasing Amsterdam pop-up store;
  • Online Route: open to legal residents of the member states of the European Union, Australia, or the United States.  

Employees, contractors, interns, officers, directors, and agents of Loop and Pleasing, as well as their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Entries must meet all Contest Rules to be eligible to win a Prize. Loop reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the Entrant. 

7. How to Enter: To enter the Contest, You must complete one of the following during the applicable Entry Period: 

  • Pop-Up Route: visit the Pleasing Amsterdam pop-up store, scan the QR code available on site and complete the entry form;
  • Online Route: complete the entry form via the pop-up banner displayed on Loop’s website. 

You must submit a valid email address and answer the following knowledge-based question (the “Skill Question”): “What kind of events are Loop Experience earplugs made for?”. You may optionally subscribe to the Loop newsletter and/or the Pleasing newsletter; subscription is not a condition of entry. Incomplete entries or those that do not adhere to the Rules may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Loop. Multiple entries or attempts to enter through multiple email addresses, identities, or devices are prohibited and may result in disqualification. 

8. Referrals: After submitting a valid entry, You may refer friends to enter the Contest by sharing Your unique referral link. A referral is considered a “Valid Referral” only when all the following conditions are met during the Entry Period: 

a) The Entrant shares their personal referral link with another individual; 

b) The referred individual completes email verification; 

c) Each Valid Referral involves a unique, genuine referred individual.

No purchase by the referred person is required for a Valid Referral. Referring friends is entirely optional and is not a condition of entry.  

Each Entrant may accumulate a maximum of one (1) Valid Referral during the Entry Period. Any referrals beyond this cap will not be counted. 

The following are prohibited and may result in disqualification: 

a) Self-referrals or referrals using the Entrant’s own email address(es); 

b) Referrals using fake, temporary, disposable, or duplicate email addresses; 

c) Use of bots, macros, scripts, automation tools, or other technical means to generate referrals; 

d) Creation of multiple accounts or use of multiple identities to circumvent these Rules; 

e) Mass posting of referral links on coupon sites, deal aggregators, public forums, or classified ad sites; 

f) Use of paid advertising to distribute or promote personal referral links; 

g) Any other form of referral farming, self-dealing, or artificial inflation of referrals. 

9. Scoring: A jury of three (3) people from Loop’s CRM team (the “Jury”) will evaluate each eligible entry and assign a score (the “Score”) based on the following criteria: 

a) Skill Question: Entrants who correctly answer the Skill Question get one (1) point. 

b) Valid Referrals: A Valid Referral will double the Score. The Jury will assess the legitimacy of referrals and discard any referrals that appear fraudulent, duplicated, or otherwise non-genuine 

c) Newsletter subscription: Entrants who optionally subscribe to the Loop newsletter and/or Pleasing newsletter will triple the Score.  

10. Winner Selection and Notification: Winners are selected by the Jury based on correct registration and the Score. The Entrants with the highest Score depending on the route will be selected as Winners. In the event of a tie, the Winner will be determined based on the earliest valid entry received (timestamp). The Winners will be notified by email by 30 June 2026. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the Prize within three (3) calendar days from the time Our notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the Prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner selected. Loop shall have no liability for a Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. Any violation of these Rules by the Winner will result in the Winner’s disqualification as winner, and all privileges as Winner will be immediately terminated. 

11. Winner Announcement: To request a copy of the Winner announcement, please contact Us. Requests must be sent within 2 weeks of the end of the Entry Period. 

12. Shipment Prize: The Winner will indicate the delivery address within three (3) calendar days after being contacted. The Prize will be shipped after 30 June 2026. Receipt of the Prize offered in the Contest by the Winner is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, customs charges, or other levies applicable to the receipt of the Prize in their country of residence.  

13. Disqualification and Anti-Abuse: Loop reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify, of this Contest or any future contests, and to void any or all of their entries, if Loop suspects or determines that the Entrant has: 

a) Tampered or attempted to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or any Loop website; 

b) Engaged in any of the prohibited activities described in Clause 8; or 

c) Otherwise violated these Rules. 

Loop uses automated and manual fraud detection measures, including but not limited to email similarity checks and blocked domain lists. Loop reserves the right to request evidence or documentation from any Entrant to verify the legitimacy of their referrals, and to refuse to award a Prize where patterns indicate fraud or non-compliance. 

Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage any website of Loop or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest, may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Loop reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

14. Modifications: Loop reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should virus, bug, non-authorised human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Loop’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest. In such cases, Loop may select a winner from eligible entries received before and/or after the action taken by Loop. Loop also reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest in any jurisdiction if it is forced to do so due to illegality or invalidity of the Contest or due to binding self-regulatory rules, without any right of compensation towards the Contest participants. This Contest is void where prohibited by law or where registration or bonding is required. 

15. Limitation of Liability: By entering the Contest, You agree to release and hold harmless Loop, Pleasing, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any Prize or any portion thereof; (ii) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the Contest; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; (iv) technical errors of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (v) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (vi) printing errors; (vii) lost, late, postage due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail. Loop will not be liable for any damages or losses as a result of failure by Us to deliver the Prize as a result of any circumstances outside of Our direct and reasonable control including, but not limited to, as a result of a server failure (including but not limited to access delays or interruptions, data non-delivery or mis-delivery), any act(s) of God, war or terrorism, breaches of security or unauthorised use of personal data arising from hacking and/or failure or lack of reception of telephone or mobile telephone networks. 

16. Data Protection: By submitting Your personal details, You agree to Loop processing those details for the purpose of administering the Contest (including announcement of the Winner) and in accordance with Loop’s Privacy Policy which can be viewed at https://www.loopearplugs.com/policies/privacy-policy (for EU and Australian residents) or https://us.loopearplugs.com/policies/privacy-policy (for US residents).  

The personal data collected in connection with this Contest is limited to Your email address, which is necessary for administering the Contest and notifying Winners. 

Entrants who participate in the referral programme share a personal referral link. Entrants should not collect, store, or submit any other individual’s personal data (including email addresses) to Loop as part of their participation. Referred individuals interact with Loop directly and provide their own personal data under Loop’s Privacy Policy. 

If You opt in to receive the Pleasing newsletter, Your email address will be shared with Pleasing for marketing purposes; this data sharing is based on Your explicit, freely given consent and is entirely optional. By providing your explicit consent, you may also agree to receive additional product announcements, promotions and updates regarding Loop and its products. You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from these communications at any time and free of charge. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before your withdrawal. 

17. Platform Disclaimer: The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any platform or social media network where it may be shared. You understand that You are providing your information to Loop and not to any third-party platform. 

18. Disputes: For Entrants residing in the European Union or Australia, this Contest is governed by the laws of Belgium, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. However, this choice of governing law does not deprive Entrants of any mandatory consumer protections afforded by the laws of their country of residence. Disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the courts of Belgium, unless required otherwise by the laws of the Entrant’s country of residence. For Entrants residing in the United States, this Contest is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. Disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the state of federal courts located in the State of New York, unless required otherwise by the laws of the Entrant’s country of residence. Participants waive the right to claim any damages beyond out-of-pocket expenses.
