"30hrs of international flights an absolute GAME CHANGER with these! I had bought them to wear at busy pubs and noisy events, but our light sleeper 7mo was struggling with the bassinet seat on the plane being so close to the bathrooms - that the toilet lock would wake him every time someone closed the door. Ear muffs on and he just slept straight through it all. Even managed to stay sleeping as we disembarked and transferred to the next flight. "Our little guy has always had sensory issues, and recently the construction by his daycare got to be too loud. He was holding his hands over his ears during outside time. I was really skeptical that he would tolerate headphones because he has never tolerated hats or sunglasses, so something else in his head or face seemed like a no go. These arrived, and in an effort to prepare him for daycare I had him try them out the night before. When I tell you this kid LOVED them…his first reaction was “it’s so quiet in here!” And then he promptly refused to take them off for the evening. We don't recommend it. While Loop Halo™ baby earmuffs have been extensively tested and certified to the applicable EU and US standards, they are designed for supervised use only, and not for sleep. When they're not being worn, store them out of reach.

Think of it as turning the volume down. Loop Halo™ baby earmuffs reduce noise, but they don't mute sound. Your child can still hear nearby voices depending on fit, distance and surrounding noise.
