Comfortable reusable earplugs

Earplugs are a fantastic tool for reducing the volume in noisy environments and taking the edge off if you’re sensitive to noise. But traditional earplugs are made from foam – and they’re made to be thrown away after each use.

That’s not good for your wallet – and it’s not good for the environment, either. If you want a long-lasting alternative that will keep your ears safe, then you need a pair of our reusable earplugs. Loop Earplugs are built to last and you can wear them again and again and again, whether you’re at home, on your commute, in the office, or attending a concert or other events.

Why you should buy reusable earplugs

Single-use earplugs contribute to landfill waste – which is a big problem for the planet. By choosing reusable earplugs, you can reduce the amount of plastic and foam waste. Imagine if everyone had one pair of reusable earplugs they can use again and again at every concert, festival, football game and nightclub rather than using a new pair of foam earplugs each time – we could make a huge difference.

Reusable earplugs are often made from superior materials designed for optimal sound reduction and long-term durability. Traditional foam earplugs block out sound, meaning that if you’re wearing them to reduce noise at a concert, the music will be dampened – which can spoil the fun.

Depending on the model you choose, they’re also made to filter sound waves rather than block them out, so you can still hear everything that’s going on around you – just at a lower volume.

Why Loop Earplugs are your best option

Say goodbye to piles of foam and plastic in landfill with reusable earplugs. Loop Earplugs are made to last, crafted from materials that can withstand parties, concerts, outdoor events, traveling and more.

Our Loop Quiet earplugs are made from 100% soft silicone, making them super comfortable to wear, whether you’re using them to study or sleep. Plus, they offer 26.2 decibels (SNR) and 14 dB (NRR) of noise reduction, making them perfect for sleeping or finding deep focus.

Loop Engage earplugs offer up to 16 dB (SNR) and 10 dB (NRR) of noise reduction without affecting the clarity of your voice for more natural conversations. And for little ears, there’s Loop Engage Kids, to help improve their concentration and manage anxiety.

Experience earplugs offer up to 18 dB (SNR) and 7 dB (NRR) of noise reduction, with a patented acoustic channel and mesh to filter sound waves rather than blocking them. That makes them perfect for concerts, sports and other events where you need to reduce noise to a safer level.

And if you want earplugs that can do it all? That’s where Loop Switch come in. They offer the convenience of 3 earplugs in 1, controlled by a single switch so you can choose between Engage, Experience and Quiet modes depending on your environment.

Whatever earplugs you choose, you can wear them over and over again in a variety of situations, whether you want to reduce the noise or reduce overwhelm and sensory overload. Unlike foam earplugs which need to be thrown in the trash after a single use, Loop Earplugs are durable and sustainable. The silicone ear tips can be easily washed whenever you need to – and their unique construction means you’ll still be able to engage with what’s going on around you.

Frequently asked questions

How do reusable earplugs differ from disposable ones?

Disposable earplugs have a bigger environmental impact, generating more waste as they’re discarded after each use unlike reusable earplugs. Traditional foam earplugs also block out sound rather than filtering sound waves, as Loop Earplugs do – and because Loop Earplugs come with a choice of ear tips, you can get the perfect fit for you, unlike reusable earplugs which are one-size-fits-all.

How often should I clean my reusable earplugs?

It depends how often you use them, and what environment you use them in - but you should clean them regularly to maintain good hygiene. It’s really easy to clean your Loop Earplugs. For Loop Quiet, you can simply wipe clean or submerge them in water. Loop Engage, Experience and Switch have a special filter, and submerging them could damage it, but you can simply wipe them clean with soapy water and a damp cloth.

Do reusable earplugs provide the same noise reduction levels for every use?

It depends what earplugs you choose! Loop Engage earplugs offer up to 16 dB (SNR) and 10 dB (NRR) of noise reduction, Loop Experience offer up to 18 dB (SNR) and 7 dB (NRR) of noise reduction, and Loop Quiet offer up to 26.2 dB (SNR) and 14 dB (NRR) of noise reduction.

How many times can you use reusable earplugs?

There’s no universal rule on how many times you can use reusable earplugs – it depends on how often you wear them, what you wear them for, and how clean you keep them. In general, we recommend replacing your ear tips every 3 to 6 months
