"Unfortunately, the Loop Quiet 2 doesn’t work well for me. They do a great job of reducing background noise, but at the same time, I become much more aware of my own internal sounds. I can hear my breathing, swallowing, and even the rushing of blood in my ears much more clearly. For me, this is actually more overwhelming than the background noise itself, so I still end up feeling overstimulated. I can see how these earplugs could work really well for others, but unfortunately they aren’t a good fit for me."
"Bought these the same time as the engage plus 2 for my sons wedding as I thought it would help for sleep. I wore them as soon as I got them for my first night and my sleep score showed a dramatic change in my deep sleep and not awake as many times as usual. Noise came up through the floor of our room at the hotel night before wedding and they helped dramatically. I’ve changed the tops a few times where the xs is the most comfortable but I am bruised inside my left ear which is the side I lie on so I think the shape probably isn’t the most ideal for me but I couldn’t afford the ones that are just for sleep, Dream I think. It’s a shame as I haven’t been able to wear them a few nights now and it showed with more awakenings. I find that there is a great selection to choose from on the website and I like that they are reusable and easy to clean."

It looks like I might have to invest in a more expensive pair and see if that works better for my preferences."

While these dampened standard street sounds by roughly 70%, they failed to block out emergency sirens, helicopter sounds. To get any relief at home, I am forced to layer heavy industrial earmuffs over the top of the Loop Quiets."
"These were a replacment to my first pair, which sadly got left behind in a hotal in Belfast... This new pair for some reason does not have the same fit as the old ones. The large size fitting is still marginally loose for my earhole. This still allows the noise to get through easily."

They’re also pretty good for sleeping next to a snorer, although I did eventually upgrade to the Sleep buds as I’m a side sleeper and these are a little too firm if pressed against the pillow.
